Meet Andy Whiteing
I am a life-long photographer who grew up in South Omaha. I purchased my first Brownie Hawkeye camera in a local pawn store on south 24th street at the early age of 12 and always kept my camera with me. As a yearbook photographer at South High school, and under the direction of Arnold Clark Photography across the street, I learned how to frame the shot before snapping the photograph. I went on to the Nebraska Air National Guard in Lincoln, NE working as a photo processing specialist and print supervisor over the next 9 years. I joined the Omaha Police Department and completed a 20 year career as a patrol officer. After retiring from the OPD, I worked 1 year at Boys Town and 8 years at Nebraska Methodist Health System.
In 2015, I created Aeris360 LLC, adding aerial photography to the mix. The enjoyment of flying UAVs and drones and the passion of photography has lead me to working on many projects. I am certified with the FAA as a certified remote pilot and am fully insured with my equipment. I have taken photos for Methodist Hospital, Nebraska Methodist College and Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, as well as,the Village of Boys Town, helping them celebrate their 100 year anniversary. Since the inception of Aeris360, I have added video production options, giving local REALTORS(R) an added feature to showcase the homes they are selling on YouTube and their own web pages.
